This is the well-known appetizer, which we traditionally prepare for Christmas Eve. We like it so much that we could eat it all the year round as pesto.

Products:

½ small garlic head (or to taste)

2 cups walnuts

1 cup water

salt to taste

vinegar to taste

Preparation:

Blend all the products in a blender until a thick creamy mixture is obtained.

Always, the ratio walnut/water is 2:1. My suggestion is that you start with less water and add gradually, if necessary.
