These truffles are a real temptation not only for vegans. You can prepare them in no time, as long as you have a suitable blender. I tried different combinations until I came up to the perfect for me – nuts, cocoa and orange in full harmony! Improvisations – allowed, even desired!

Products:

2 cups pitted dates

1 cup walnuts

1/3 cup cashew

3-4 tbsp. sesame tahini

6 tbsp. fine oatmeal

5 tbsp. melted coconut oil (melted in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water), without aroma

1 tbsp. natural cocoa powder (for the dough)

orange flavor to taste

natural cocoa powder to roll out the truffles; you can use coconut sawdust, ground nuts, etc.

Preparation:

I soak half of the dates for 10 minutes in hot water (this relieves the work of my blender and makes it easier to achieve homogeneity).

Then drain them, put them in a blender with the other ingredients (without the cocoa powder for rolling out). I blend until I get thick dough.

Shape a 3 cm-balls.

Roll them out in natural cocoa powder and put them in the refrigerator to tighten well.
